"I draw really good seagulls."

Quoted from the drummer in The States. When signing my T-Shirt, I asked him if he could draw, and he promptly started putting little v's and w's everywhere. He explained he was really good with seagulls. So, last night was crazy fun. Lily, Sarah, Lineth, Becky, and I decided very spontaneously yesterday afternoon that we would go to the State Radio concert. People had been talking about it for a month at least, but we had never had any particular interest. Then suddenly, relaxing at home seemed less appealing than partying up at the much talked about/much anticipated concert. It started slow, but it picked up and was complete with much crowd surfing, an absurd number of drunk people, and feeling deaf by the end of it. We had an excellent time together though and went out after to the town's general favorite hang out, our local diner. I had the ever delicious french toast, sausage, and chocolate milkshake. All in all, it was a wonderful evening! Here are some pictures of the day and evening.

Below begins the adventures of my new shoes in the backyard:

Math is...cool, I suppose, but nature is just incredible.

Then it was concert time!
First taken from my phone: Us all with the States--Joe, Pete, and Chris.
Again, this time from a better quality phone and with the guys saying '1, 2, 3' and karate kicking.

Sarah joined the band. Turns out she fit right in!

I had been talking to someone a couple of days ago, Lineth I think, about finding tickets to some concert. By the end of State Radio, it was confirmed: we are now on the hunt for cheap, good tickets to an artist we like. Top choices currently are: The Shins, Counting Crows, Jack Johnson, Britney, or the Backstreet Boys (but if Backstreet Boys, they better play the good ol classics). Others like Feist and John Mayer some of us (like me!) would want to see, but it would be better to all agree on one and then we can split off later on for the others.
Anywho, hope everyone had a lovely Saturday!
